The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hussey tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hussey somewhat.
Fo blocks a low kick nicely.

Fo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Hussey is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Fo's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Fo is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Hussey wants to control but Fo is keeping busy and won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hussey is looking for a sweep. Fo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Fo frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Fo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Fo moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Hussey has worked his arm free - good work by Hussey!

Fo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hussey, who protects the arm well.

Fo swings around for an armbar but Hussey sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Fo's guard.

Hussey got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hussey has managed to get both his arms back between Fo's legs - danger averted.

Hussey is sitting in close to Fo's body. Fo has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Hussey is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Hussey is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Fo.
