And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, LightHeavy Weight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Laloosh tries to keep at a distance but Weight has taken the fight into the clinch.
Laloosh tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Weight's elbow.
Weight told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Weight just misses with a elbow thrown towards Laloosh's brow.

Weight creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Laloosh's defenses.


It looks like Nuke Laloosh has been cut.
Laloosh has a couple of punches blocked by Weight.
I was talking to Laloosh's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Jeez, Nuke Laloosh's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Nuke Laloosh's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). LightHeavy Weight! LightHeavy Weight retains his light heavyweight title!
After the fight, LightHeavy Weight was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
