And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sam Wilson!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Steve Montenegro and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barakat throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Wilson.
Barakat's corner calls for a 1-2. Barakat obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

That was a close round but I would say that Qasim Barakat will probably get the nod.

Well Barakat has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Qasim Barakat spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
