Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Optimus Rimes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antero Rokka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rimes might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sweet Dreams by Marilyn Manson. Rokka has chosen Twilight Guardians - Out of Our Hands as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
23 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Optimus Rimes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
28 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Antero Rokka!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rokka throws a jab when Rimes was well out of range.
Rimes jabs Rokka to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Rimes takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Rimes tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rokka was well out of range. Poor timing from Rimes.
Rokka has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Rimes is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Rokka lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Rokka throws a hook but Rimes blocks it.
Rimes lands a big head kick that sends Rokka tumbling to the mat! Rimes takes a step backwards and waves Rokka back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Rokka is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rokka loads up on a big right hand but Rimes slips the punch.
Rokka is still on wobbly legs! Can Rimes finish him?
A jab from Rokka finds it's way through Rimes's defenses.
Rokka changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rimes tries to avoid it but Rokka manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rimes to the ground. Rimes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
It looked like Rimes was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Rokka.
Rokka seems to have recovered his senses.
Rokka misses with an uppercut. Rimes saw that one coming.
Rokka shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rimes sprawls well. Rimes wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rokka gets slowly back to his feet.
Rimes is looking to counter punch.
Rimes gets tackled into the cage by Rokka. Rokka maintains the clinch.
Rokka takes a knee right on the jaw!
Rokka tries to break the clinch but Rimes is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rokka wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Rokka tries to break free but Rimes pushes him back against the cage.
Rokka avoiding damage as Rimes throws knees to the body.
Rimes unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Rokka manages to break the clinch.
Rokka throws a hook to the side of Rimes's head but Rimes sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Rokka looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Optimus Rimes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antero Rokka.
Rimes tries to land a front kick but Rokka steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Rokka throws a poor cross that misses
and Rimes counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Rokka thinking.
Rimes lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Rokka moves out of range as Rimes throws a body kick.
Rimes misses the body punch
and Rokka counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A jab from Rokka misses.
Rokka scores with a jab.
Rimes is rocked!
Rimes is aggressively charging in as Rokka backs up avoiding any damage. Rokka tosses out a jab and Rimes runs right into it face first! Rimes is out cold! Rokka dropped down on all fours and is barking in Rimes's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Antero Rokka!
Antero Rokka decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
