The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goodman fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Goodman shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Muller defends it nicely.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
We've been informed that Muller has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Muller lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Muller gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Muller is pressed up against the cage. Goodman has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Muller down to the mat. Muller avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trey Goodman. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Goodman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Muller's guard.

Goodman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Goodman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Muller pulls Goodman in close to his closed guard and prevents Goodman from doing any damage or advancing position.

Goodman wants to pass the guard but Muller is keeping the position.

Goodman drops back looking for a leg! Muller is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Muller manages to kick Goodman off! Goodman jumps back into Muller's guard.

Goodman is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Muller is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Muller has escaped and now he's on top!

Goodman has his feet on Muller's thighs here. He's pushed Muller off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Muller screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
