Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Robledo Puch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Henry Bonney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Puch comes into the arena with Breathe blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 14 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, William Henry Bonney!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonney dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Puch bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Bonney tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Bonney manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Puch is looking for a triangle here but Bonney uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Puch rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bonney makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Puch drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Puch jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Bonney wants to stand and escape but Puch is having none of it.

Puch is fighting to break Bonney's control of his arms but Bonney is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Bonney is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Horrible takedown attempt by Puch or perhaps it was just good defense by Bonney, which made it look bad.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Puch's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

and Bonney counters with a three punch combo that has Puch backing up. Puch nods at Bonney to acknowledge the strikes.

Bonney lands a big head kick that sends Puch tumbling to the mat! Bonney takes a step backwards and waves Puch back to his feet - he wants the finish!
