The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takahashi throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mctanned on the side of the head.

It looks like Paul Mctanned has been cut.
Takahashi swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Mctanned.
Ethelbart Takahashi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Takahashi lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Mctanned takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Takahashi throws a big shot that misses.

Takahashi lands a big right hand that sends Mctanned crashing to the mat! Takahashi stays standing though and waves Mctanned back to his feet!
