The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stirling throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Thanyoo stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Stirling.
Stirling looks to score with a jab to the body but Thanyoo is just out of range.
Thanyoo thows a left - swing and a miss!
A countering left hand to the body from Stirling misses.
Stirling throws a head kick but Thanyoo moves out of range.
Thanyoo was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Horrible takedown attempt by Thanyoo or perhaps it was just good defense by Stirling, which made it look bad.
Stirling looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Alastair Stirling seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thanyoo ducks under a wild hook from Stirling.
Thanyoo throws a hook but Stirling blocks it.
Thanyoo tries for a takedown but Stirling sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Stirling tries to work over Thanyoo's front leg with a kick but Thanyoo checks it.
A low kick from Stirling is predictable there

and Thanyoo counters with a single leg into guard. Stirling didn't expect that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stirling is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Thanyoo is looking for a kimura but Stirling is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Thanyoo to get the leverage.
Stirling has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Stirling is trying to control but can't.
Stirling is staying active underneath Thanyoo, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Thanyoo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Thanyoo working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Stirling's thigh. Stirling counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Thanyoo wants to pass the guard but Stirling is keeping the position.
Thanyoo trying to control but Stirling is working from the bottom.
Thanyoo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stirling swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Stirling can't keep his opponent in guard - Thanyoo advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Stirling wants to improve his position but Thanyoo is controlling well.
Thanyoo passes the guard and advances to mount!
Stirling stops Thanyoo from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

Thanyoo moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Stirling has worked his arm free - good work by Stirling!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Stirling is trying to control Thanyoo's posture but Thanyoo avoids it.

Thanyoo working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Thanyoo goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Stirling rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Thanyoo's guard! Nice work there by Stirling!
Stirling tries to stand but Thanyoo is controlling from the bottom.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Stirling slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

That was a close round but I would say that Mo Thanyoo will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Thanyoo scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Thanyoo shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Stirling throws a nice outside leg kick.
Thanyoo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stirling as he avoids it easily.
Thanyoo shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Stirling throws a hook to the side of Thanyoo's head but Thanyoo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A good leg kick by Thanyoo.
Thanyoo gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Thanyoo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Stirling connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Thanyoo scrambles back to his feet.
Some bone on bone action there as Thanyoo checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Stirling lands a glancing blow to the side of Thanyoo's head.
Nice uppercut lands for Thanyoo. That snapped Stirling's head back.
Alastair Stirling seems to be getting the better of the standup.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Thanyoo moves out of range as Stirling strikes.

Thanyoo gets a clinch.
Stirling is trying to break the clinch but Thanyoo has him pressed against the cage.
Stirling blocking some punches.
Thanyoo softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.

Thanyoo goes for a takedown attempt but Stirling pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Thanyoo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Thanyoo checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Thanyoo swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Stirling scores with a jab to the head.
Thanyoo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Stirling.
Thanyoo throws a looping overhand right but Stirling ducks down to avoid it.
Stirling is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Thanyoo is rocked!
Stirling looks to land a right hand but Thanyoo moved out of range.
Oh Thanyoo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Thanyoo.
Stirling lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Thanyoo - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Stirling!
