Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Niacisse Kenmoghn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mees Metsast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Niacisse Kenmoghn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mees Metsast!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kenmoghn bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Metsast tries to buck Kenmoghn off but Kenmoghn is having none of it.
Metsast manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Kenmoghn wants to get back to his feet.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Metsast working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Metsast is keen to just control but Kenmoghn is a slippery customer.

Still in half guard, Metsast seems content to control.
Kenmoghn is looking for a sweep. Metsast is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Kenmoghn wants to control but Metsast is keeping busy.
Metsast passes to full mount!
Metsast trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Metsast controlling the pace for now.
Kenmoghn is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Kenmoghn is working to get back to half guard.
Metsast looking to control but Kenmoghn is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Metsast pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
We've been hearing good reports from Kenmoghn's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Metsast can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kenmoghn is looking to escape.

Metsast's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Metsast prevents Kenmoghn from getting the reversal.
Metsast is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Kenmoghn can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Kenmoghn holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Metsast tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Kenmoghn is looking to improve his position but Metsast isn't that keen on the idea.
Kenmoghn in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kenmoghn tries to hold on but Metsast postures up.
Metsast tries to control but Kenmoghn wriggling away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Metsast won't let Kenmoghn get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Metsast tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mees Metsast dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Kenmoghn connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Metsast throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kenmoghn moves into range and connects with a jab.
Metsast has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Kenmoghn misses with a few strikes there.
Niacisse Kenmoghn is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Metsast throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.


It looks like Niacisse Kenmoghn has been cut.
A head kick misses from Metsast.
Kenmoghn attempts a counter takedown but Metsast avoids it well and moves away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mees Metsast seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Kenmoghn throws a predictable looking body shot
and Metsast counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Metsast circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Kenmoghn drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Metsast follows Kenmoghn to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mees Metsast!
