Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vyacheslav Romanov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tony Slevin!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romanov takes one on the button.
Romanov throws a big shot that misses.
Slevin moves out of range of the body kick from Romanov.
Slevin listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Slevin misses with a jab, cross combination.
Slevin fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Romanov looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Tony Slevin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Slevin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Romanov, pushing him back against the cage.
Romanov misses with a hook to the ribs.
Romanov throws a knee to the head but misses.
Slevin is trying to push Romanov away but Romanov has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
A right hand to the body from Romanov.
Romanov misses with a knee to the head.
Slevin blocks an uppercut.
Romanov lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Slevin or not.
Slevin looks winded!
Slevin's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Romanov scores with a shot to the side of Slevin's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A head punch on the inside from Slevin fails to land.
Romanov tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Romanov lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Slevin backwards.
Slevin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Romanov walks away with a smile on his face. Slevin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Romanov drops Slevin with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Slevin looks back up at him and smiles so Romanov waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.


Slevin is rocked!


It looks like Tony Slevin has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Romanov lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Slevin up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Romanov from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Slevin's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vyacheslav Romanov!
Vyacheslav Romanov decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
Tony Slevin spoke after the fight, saying 'ill be round your house later with the lads'.
