PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Crusher Breaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spike Reaper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Breaker kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I Stand Alone. Reaper has chosen Boom as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Crusher Breaker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Spike Reaper!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Phil Schofield and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reaper tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Breaker manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Breaker has closed the distance and engaged Reaper in a clinch.
Reaper drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Breaker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Breaker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Reaper tries to avoid it but Breaker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Reaper to the ground. Reaper escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Reaper is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Breaker's half guard.

Reaper is working for a submission of some sort.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Reaper is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Reaper is trying to work for a kimura but Breaker is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Reaper is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Breaker sees it coming and defends easily.
Breaker wants to improve his position but Reaper is controlling well.

Breaker looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Breaker has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Reaper. Oh but Breaker has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Reaper goes limp - he's gone! Breaker jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Crusher Breaker!
Our winner, Crusher Breaker, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
