Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sam Quint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aslak Aas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aas has chosen Nunnuka Nunnuka as his entrance music. Aslak Aas has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Sam Quint's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Aslak Aas!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aas has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Quint fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Aas has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Quint.

Quint fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Aas manages to avoid it.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Aas might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Quint has got the better of the exchanges.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Quint lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Aas has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Aas and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
