The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beast throws a low kick but Uusisto avoids it.
Uusisto walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Uusisto throws a predictable looking body shot
and Beast counters with a nice leg kick.
Beast looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Uusisto throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Beast sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Uusisto blocks the body kick.
Uusisto misses with a takedown attempt
and Beast counters with a straight right hand.
Uusisto misses with a right hand
and Beast counters with an outside leg kick.
Jurmas Uusisto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Uusisto tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Beast was well out of range. Poor timing from Uusisto.
Beast is looking to counter punch.

Nice body punch from Uusisto.
Beast throws a leg kick but Uusisto moved away.
Uusisto connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Beast's hands.
Uusisto fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Beast looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Beast bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Uusisto's head.

It looks like Jurmas Uusisto has been cut.

Beast takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Beast is looking to land body kicks.
Uusisto swings for the body but Beast moves out of range.
Uusisto throws a series of punches but Beast moves out of range.
Uusisto throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Uusisto fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Uusisto looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Beast is fending him off so far but Uusisto persists. Nope, Beast circles away and we're back to standing.
Beast went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Billy Beast has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jurmas Uusisto.
Uusisto checks the leg kick.
Uusisto feints the counter takedown.
The fighters circling - Uusisto throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Beast lands with a hook. Uusisto tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Uusisto gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Beast.
Beast takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Uusisto is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Billy Beast is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Uusisto misses with a looping left.
Uusisto looks to land a left hand but Beast moved out of range nicely.
Uusisto shoots for a double leg takedown but Beast sprawls well. He's pushed Uusisto's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Beast appears to be looking for a big counter.

Beast cracks Uusisto with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Beast has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Uusisto to stand back up!

Uusisto is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A head kick by Beast - that's a beauty! Uusisto is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Beast can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
