PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenta Yuudai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Santos misses its intended target.
Yuudai darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Yuudai tries to close the distance and clinch up but Santos swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Yuudai drives through with a takedown into Santos's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Santos is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Yuudai presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Santos breaks the clinch.
Yuudai's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Santos connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Yuudai scrambles back to his feet.

It looks like Kenta Yuudai has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Santos misses with a straight right.
Yuudai looks for a takedown but Santos sprawls well.
Santos missing with a left hand there. Yuudai was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Yuudai moves into range and clinches up with Santos.
Yuudai has a couple of punches blocked by Santos.
Santos throws a head punch that misses.

Santos breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Santos lands a left and a right that send Yuudai crashing to the mat, dazed. Santos thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Yuudai is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Santos weaves into range and cracks Yuudai right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Yuudai goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Santos is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Junior Dos Santos!
