The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monk throws a half hearted mid kick.
Monk lets loose with a powerful body kick. Ferreira will feel that in the morning.
Ferreira fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Monk fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ferreira has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Ferreira lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Monk at a distance.
Monk on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Monk takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Monk cracks the inside of Ferreira's front leg.
Ferreira changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Monk takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Monk is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ferreira scores with a one two! Monk had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Silas Monk has been cut.

Ferreira thows a body kick. Monk tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Ferreira looks to land a body kick but Monk moved away.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ferreira.
Monk uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ferreira.
Ferreira throws a half hearted mid kick.
Monk tries to counter by clinching up but Ferreira breaks away and moves out of range.
Nice defenses there by Monk.
Ferreira connects with a solid leg kick.
Ferreira works Monk's body with a nice hook.
Ferreira lands a leg kick that knocks Monk off balance momentarily.
A head kick misses from Monk.
Ferreira blocks a jab.
Ferreira throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Monk moves out of range of the body kick from Ferreira.
Ferreira looks to land a body kick but Monk moved away.

Ferreira sends Monk crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Ferreira is motioning to the referee to let Monk up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ferreira shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Monk takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Ferreira sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Monk bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

Marco Ferreira is the new super heavyweight champion!
As Marco Ferreira got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Knew I needed one clean shot at Knut and game over. I want 1 Million dollars for the superfight with Silas as I'm broke. You fuckers wanna know what I get paid man?'.
In defeat, Silas Monk stepped up to the mic, saying 'It's confirmed now, I officially suck!'.
