Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Friedrich Bergfried (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aslak Aas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aas is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Nunnuka Nunnuka. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Aslak Aas was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bergfried lands a leg kick that knocks Aas off balance momentarily.
Friedrich Bergfried seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bergfried throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Aas counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Aas counters with a nice uppercut.
Bergfried fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Aas checks it well.

Aas is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bergfried had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

A little jabbing left from Aas on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

And Aas responds with a good body kick, but Bergfried manages to step out the way in time.

Oh Bergfried is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Aas moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Bergfried seems to have got his legs back now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bergfried tries to move into range but Aas moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Aas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bergfried manages to avoid it.
Bergfried looks for the body kick but Aas saw that one coming.
Aas moves out of range of the body kick.
Bergfried sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Bergfried tries to land a body kick
and Aas counters with a straight that turns Bergfried's legs to rubber! Aas pushes forward with more strikes and Bergfried goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!

Aslak Aas really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Milwaukee's Best 160 (80% laundry) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
