PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tantalus Flay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aznar Thrul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flay comes to the cage accompanied by Outerspace- Revolution. Tantalus Flay could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Aznar Thrul's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aznar Thrul!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Steve Montenegro and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thrul tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Flay swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Flay clobbers Thrul with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

The crowd cheers as Flay lands an impressive looking overhand right. Thrul doesn't seem phased though.
Thrul throws a series of punches but Flay avoids them all with ease.
Thrul moves out of range as Flay strikes.
Flay thuds a left hand into Thrul's body.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Thrul has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Flay takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Flay sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Thrul lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Flay pulls Thrul in close to his closed guard and prevents Thrul from doing any damage or advancing position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Aznar Thrul comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Thrul has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Aznar Thrul tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
