Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cormac McCarthy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Touko Pouko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pouko moves out of range as McCarthy strikes.
McCarthy throws a right and a left that both miss.
Pouko with the counter takedown but McCarthy avoids it easily.
Pouko fails to land the takedown.
McCarthy seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Pouko throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McCarthy's waist but McCarthy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pouko off to one side.
Pouko fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
McCarthy was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Cormac McCarthy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Touko Pouko.
McCarthy misses with a hook.
Pouko dives in for a single leg takedown but McCarthy sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
McCarthy bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
McCarthy throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
McCarthy fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
McCarthy scores with a jab to the body.
A nice inside leg kick there by McCarthy. That's going to slow Pouko down.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McCarthy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Pouko closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into McCarthy's guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Nice sprawl there from McCarthy as Pouko shoots in.
Pouko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McCarthy tries to avoid it but Pouko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McCarthy to the ground. McCarthy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
McCarthy displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pouko.
