The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Edilhson tries to bum rush Thanyoo with a series of wild strikes but Thanyoo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Edilhson throws out a loose jab but Thanyoo uses good head movement to avoid it.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Thanyoo goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Edilhson has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Thanyoo but great work by Edilhson.

Edilhson throws an elbow that misses. Thanyoo uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Edilhson's guard. Nice move by Thanyoo!
Thanyoo has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Edilhson to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Thanyoo is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Edilhson pulls down on the head and he's put Thanyoo to sleep! This one is all over!
