Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Jalkalukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dack Fayden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jalkalukko might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Jordan Sparks ft. Chris Brown - No Air . Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fayden shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jalkalukko pinned against the cage. Jalkalukko gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jalkalukko looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Fayden throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Jalkalukko closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fayden did well to prevent Jalkalukko getting side control.

Fayden darts in and clinches Jalkalukko up against the cage.
Fayden is pressed up against the cage. Jalkalukko has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fayden down to the mat. Fayden avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Fayden drives through and clinches with Jalkalukko against the cage.

Fayden throws the left hand but Jalkalukko avoids the punch easily.

Jalkalukko gets caught napping as Fayden dives in and scores a takedown. Jalkalukko manages to retain guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jalkalukko wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Jalkalukko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Fayden wants to control from the top but Jalkalukko keeps moving.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Jesse Jalkalukko will probably get the nod.

Fayden tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jalkalukko paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jalkalukko throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fayden's waist but Fayden gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jalkalukko off to one side.
Jalkalukko fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Fayden.

Nice combo by Fayden! Oh, that's hurt him - Jalkalukko falls to the canvas and Fayden follows him into side control.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
