Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Olaf Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James comes to the cage accompanied by Tuesday's Gone. Frost has chosen O-Zone - Dragostea Din Tei as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 17 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Tommy James!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Olaf Frost!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frost pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
It looked like James was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Frost.
James scores with a jab to the head.
Frost connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
James throws a body kick that misses.
Frost swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Frost throws a lazy right hand but James sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Frost closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
James misses the shot to the body.
Frost counters with a body kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts James, as that shot connected.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

James thows a body kick. Frost tries to catch it but that hurt him.
James throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Frost throws a hook but James blocks it.
James throws a right and a left that both miss.

Some bone on bone action there as James checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Frost swings for the body but James moves out of range.
Frost throws an overhand right that lands on James's shoulder, as James tries to avoid the shot.

Frost lands a nice looking body shot.
James throws a nice inside leg kick.
James throws a nice looking combination but Frost bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Frost appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

and Frost makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

James takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

That was a close round but I would say that Tommy James will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

James is looking to work some ground and pound but Frost has wrist control.
James stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Frost swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
James seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
James is trying to drag Frost to the mat but Frost just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

I would just about give that final round to Olaf Frost.
I think James has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
