Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jose Cronos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magnus Mamba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cronos's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sandstorm. Mamba has chosen 2pac-Uppercut as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jose Cronos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 40 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Magnus Mamba!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cronos swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mamba lands with an overhand left.
Mamba uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Cronos looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Cronos lands a jab to Mamba's midsection.
Cronos throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A left and a right from Cronos both land. Nice combination.
Cronos misses with a double jab
and Mamba makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Nice body punch from Mamba.
A cross from Mamba lands.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cronos takes a shot right to the bread basket.
A right-left combo lands from Cronos.
Cronos on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Mamba swings for the body but Cronos moves out of range.
Cronos cracks Mamba with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Cronos throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mamba's coach down at was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Mamba's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Mamba scores with a jab. Cronos acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Mamba lands with a nice body punch.
Mamba swings away with a body shot that misses
and Cronos counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Cronos takes one on the button.
Mamba turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Mamba rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Cronos counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Cronos gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Mamba takes a swing at Cronos's ribcage but misses.
Cronos appears to be looking for a big counter.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cronos takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Mamba scoring well with a low kick there.
Mamba has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mamba there as he acknowledges the shot.

Cronos tests Mamba's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Cronos connects with the punch.
Mamba lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
A swing and a miss from Cronos.
Cronos avoids the head kick by Mamba.
Cronos throws a series of punches but Mamba moves out of range.
Mamba throws a counter combo.
Mamba turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Cronos throws a body shot but no joy.
Mamba tries to bum rush Cronos with a series of wild strikes but Cronos uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A solid leg kick lands there for Mamba.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Mamba, right into the meat.
Cronos takes one to the side of the head.
Magnus Mamba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cronos misses with a lunging right hand
and Mamba counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Mamba ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Cronos takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Cronos takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Mamba throws a push kick but Cronos slaps the foot to one side.
Mamba lands a body shot.
Mamba moves into range and connects with a jab.
Mamba lands a leg kick that knocks Cronos off balance momentarily.
Cronos on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Mamba. Mamba obviously looking to wear him down.
Mamba lands a nice leg kick that just misses Cronos's sensitive parts.
A jab from Mamba finds it's way through Cronos's defenses.
Mamba scores with a three punch combo!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mamba throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Cronos looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
A shot to the liver by Mamba. Beautiful body shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mamba lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Cronos moves forwards but Mamba connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Cronos is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Cronos defending well as Mamba loads up on a big left hand.
Cronos takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Cronos takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Cronos lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Cronos swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A good leg kick by Mamba.
Mamba throws a front kick that sends Cronos stumbling back into the cage.
Mamba looks to score with a jab to the body but Cronos is just out of range.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cronos avoids the body shot from Mamba.
Mamba scores with a one two! Cronos had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.


Cronos is rocked!
Mamba throws a body shot but no joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Magnus Mamba dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Cronos throws a body punch but Mamba moves out of range.
Cronos slips a straight right by Mamba.
Mamba cracks Cronos with a good jab.
Cronos misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mamba fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cronos manages to avoid it.
Cronos throws a head kick but Mamba moves out of range.
Cronos tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Cronos takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Cronos throws a looping overhand right but Mamba ducks down to avoid it.
Mamba appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cronos misses with a low kick as Mamba jumps back.
A telegraphed right hand from Cronos misses the target.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mamba.
Mamba wants to land a leg kick but Cronos is out of range.
It looked like Cronos wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

and Mamba counters with a thumping low kick.

A decent looking cross lands there for Mamba.
Mamba misses with a low kick as Cronos jumps back.
Nice body punch from Mamba.
Mamba just misses with a punch to the body.
An attempted straight right counter from Cronos misses the target.
Cronos lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mamba circles away quickly and effectively.
Mamba looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Mamba thuds a left hand into Cronos's body.
Jose Cronos is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Cronos has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mamba finds it's way round the side to connect with Cronos's head.
Cronos lands a nice looking body shot.
Mamba shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Cronos eats them both and turns towards Mamba to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Cronos fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mamba moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Oh Cronos is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Mamba has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Cronos seems to have got his legs back now.
Cronos looks to land a combination but Mamba avoids it well.
Cronos takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Mamba scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Mamba buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Mamba connects with a good right hand that stumbles Cronos. Cronos circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Cronos swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mamba misses with a wild body shot.
Mamba scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Mamba uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cronos.
Mamba digs a good body shot into Cronos's ribs.
Good exchange - Mamba coming out on top.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mamba ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Cronos might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Mamba scores with a jab to the jaw.
BOOM! Mamba lands a beautiful left hook that drops Cronos. Cronos tries to recover but Mamba is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Cronos lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Magnus Mamba!
Magnus Mamba seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Jose Cronos was interviewed post fight and said 'Sorry everyone, the better man won tonight. I'll be back.'.
