Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ho Lee Fuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Indigo Starseed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Starseed has chosen Bass Nectar- Take You Down as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Starseed 's head but he takes it in his stride.

It looks like Indigo Starseed has been cut.
Fuk looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Starseed moves out of range of the body kick from Fuk.
And Starseed tries to counter it with a takedown but Fuk pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Fuk fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Starseed feints the counter takedown.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Starseed has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Fuk pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fuk lands a nice shot to the body.
Fuk throws a sloppy head kick and Starseed moves out of range easily.
Starseed just misses with a punch to the body.

Fuk gets a double leg takedown into Starseed's guard.
Fuk postures up.

Starseed is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fuk defends well.

Fuk trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Fuk trying to control but Starseed is working from the bottom.

Starseed working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fuk doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fuk manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Starseed has his hands on Fuk's head, controlling the position.
Fuk is looking to work some ground and pound but Starseed has wrist control.

Starseed is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fuk is aware though and is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fuk pushes down on Starseed's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Starseed keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Fuk is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Starseed is just riding it out for now. Fuk eventually gives up the hold.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Starseed is looking for a sweep. Fuk is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Fuk trying to control from half guard but Starseed is working away.
Fuk trying to mount his opponent but Starseed defends it.

Fuk prevents Starseed from improving his position.
Fuk controlling the action here.
Fuk throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Starseed is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fuk pulls his head out easily.

Starseed with the active half guard here but Fuk passes nicely into side control.

Fuk goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Starseed rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Fuk's guard! Nice work there by Starseed!

Starseed tries to free his leg and advance position but Fuk is retaining full guard.

Starseed got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fuk has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Starseed has managed to get both his arms back between Fuk's legs - danger averted.

Fuk bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Starseed's guard.

We've been hearing that Fuk has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Fuk's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Fuk tries to score with a low kick but Starseed moves his leg out of the way.
Starseed shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Fuk eats them both and turns towards Starseed to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Fuk misses with a head kick.
Starseed keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Starseed with the counter takedown but Fuk avoids it easily.

Starseed gets caught flat footed, as Fuk shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Fuk tries to free his leg and advance position but Starseed is retaining full guard.

Starseed is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fuk wants to control from the top but Starseed keeps moving.

Fuk throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Starseed works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Starseed has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Fuk doesn't defend quickly enough and Starseed has managed to lock this one up! Can Fuk escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Starseed on a fantastic submission victory.
