Baker has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Baker manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Pereira gets control of Baker's arms and successfully pulls guard. Pereira will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Baker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Pereira working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Baker doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Baker manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Baker lands a left and a right that send Pereira crashing to the mat, dazed. Baker thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Baker cracks Pereira with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Pereira looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Baker finish him?
Oh Pereira is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Baker measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Pereira! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
