Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Biles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexei Erschov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 21 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexei Erschov!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biles fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Erschov sprawls well initially but Biles persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Erschov actively working from the bottom here.
Biles lands strikes from half guard.
Biles is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Erschov defends it well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Biles connects with a nice short shot to Erschov's temple.
Biles drops an elbow to the side of Erschov's head.

Biles passes the guard and advances to mount!
Erschov tries to buck Biles off but he can't manage it.
Biles is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Erschov has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Biles pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Biles with shots to the head and body - Erschov looks very uncomfortable down there.

Erschov is working to get back to half guard.
Biles lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Erschov! Biles sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Erschov and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
