Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fujiwara Tsuyoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shovel Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tsuyoshi comes to the cage accompanied by WHISPERED - HOLD THE SWORD. Shovel Knight is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsuyoshi with a jab.
Tsuyoshi pivots, looking for a leg kick but Knight is out of range and Tsuyoshi settles back down.
Tsuyoshi misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Knight.
Knight fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Tsuyoshi is out of range.

and Knight counters with a nice low kick that buckles Tsuyoshi's knee momentarily.
Tsuyoshi wants to land a leg kick but Knight is out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tsuyoshi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Knight throws a hook to the side of Tsuyoshi's head but Tsuyoshi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Tsuyoshi thuds his shin into the meat of Knight's side.
A clash of legs there as Knight blocks the low kick.
Knight is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

and Knight counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Shovel Knight will probably get the nod.

Tsuyoshi throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Knight takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Knight is rocked!
Tsuyoshi circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Knight tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Tsuyoshi wins by KO!

Fujiwara Tsuyoshi decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
