Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Great Cornholio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Comanche Todd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cornholio might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Cornholio MegaMix. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cornholio throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
The fighters circle momentarily. Todd darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

It looks like Great Cornholio has been cut.
Cornholio misses with a hook. Todd ducked under it nicely.
Todd comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Todd tries to bum rush Cornholio with a series of wild strikes but Cornholio uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Todd throws a one two combo.
Todd scores with a decent looking hook.
Todd misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cornholio is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Todd.
Cornholio fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Todd manages to avoid it.
Todd lands with an uppercut that bounces Cornholio off the cage and back into range.

We've been hearing reports that Cornholio has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Cornholio drops back, looking for a kneebar! Todd looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Todd looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Todd!
