Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Assassin Sokoudjou!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Joseph Jones and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sokoudjou misses with a double jab
so Man counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Sokoudjou has momentary wrist control but Man slips an elbow through the middle.
Man trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Sokoudjou manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Man throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Man throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Man has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sokoudjou can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Man is looking for a triangle here but Sokoudjou uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Man is trying to work for a sweep but Sokoudjou has mounted him!

Man is trying desperately to improve position.
Man gets back to half guard.
Sokoudjou seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Man looking for submissions off his back.
Sokoudjou wants to stand up but Man has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Man flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Man is looking for a sweep. Sokoudjou is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Sokoudjou seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Man moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Sokoudjou is looking to stand up but Man won't let him.

Man will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Sokoudjou wants to stand but Man is controlling his posture from full guard.

Oh but Man is tightening it up a little... Sokoudjou has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Sokoudjou reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Sokoudjou taps out! Nice BJJ there by Man!
