Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between James Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ed Jacobson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ed Jacobson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
It looked like Franklin wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Jacobson throws a sloppy body shot

and Franklin counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jacobson won't be happy with that.
Jacobson tries to buck Franklin off but Franklin is having none of it.
Franklin has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Jacobson!
We've been hearing good reports from Franklin's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Jacobson is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Franklin locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Jacobson is forced to tap!
