Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nuke Laloosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joy James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nuke Laloosh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joy James!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for James.
Laloosh scores with a decent looking hook.
James scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!


It looks like Nuke Laloosh has been cut.
Laloosh thows a left - swing and a miss!
James steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Laloosh.
James scores with a shot to the body.
Laloosh misses with an uppercut. James saw that one coming.
James misses with a looping left.
Nuke Laloosh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
James cracks Laloosh with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

James has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

letting James counter with a right hand.

James is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Laloosh.
Laloosh keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
James moves out of range of the body kick.
James doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

Laloosh cracks a nice hook into James's ribs.
James takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Laloosh motions for James to come forward. Laloosh throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
James steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Laloosh.
James takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Laloosh has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Hey Steves Fight Shack in the buildup to the fight.

James appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

James gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Laloosh lands a leg kick that knocks James off balance momentarily.
A solid leg kick lands there for Laloosh.
Laloosh is looking to slow James down with leg kicks.

James throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Laloosh misses with a two punch combination.
James lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

An inside leg kick from Laloosh misses.
Laloosh moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Laloosh stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Laloosh looks to score with a jab to the body but James is just out of range.

Laloosh swings for the body but James moves out of range.
James looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Laloosh looks to land a right hand but James moved out of range.
James throws out a counter right but Laloosh avoids it with no problem.
Laloosh is looking to clinch but James is avoiding it.
James misses with the combination.
Laloosh throws a right and a left that James avoids nicely.
Laloosh takes one on the button.
Laloosh misses with a low kick.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from James! But no joy.

and James counters with a left to the body.

A shot to the liver by James. Beautiful body shot.
James throws a lazy uppercut
and Laloosh connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
James lands a jab to Laloosh's midsection.
Laloosh ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Laloosh slips a straight right by James.
Laloosh showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from James.
Laloosh is looking to counter punch.
Laloosh blocks a jab.
Laloosh thows a leg kick but James checks it
and James counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
James misses with a series of wild punches.
James fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Laloosh manages to avoid it.
James tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Laloosh was well out of range. Poor timing from James.
Laloosh attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
James throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Laloosh is looking to counter the offense by James and move into the clinch.
James scores with a hook.
James punishes Laloosh's body with a nice straight punch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
James connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Laloosh momentarily.
James looks to land a left hand but Laloosh moved out of range nicely.
James lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Laloosh throws a body shot but no joy.
James swings widly with a right hand
and Laloosh cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Laloosh cracks James with a good jab.
James checks a leg kick.
James doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Laloosh uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by James.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
James looks to throw the jab but Laloosh is out of range.

Laloosh clinches up with James and pushes him back against the cage.
Laloosh misses with a body punch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Nuke Laloosh will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Nuke Laloosh's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Laloosh cracks James with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Laloosh has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning James to stand back up!


James is still looking wobbly from the end of the last round!


It looks like Joy James has been cut.
Laloosh lands a nice looking body kick.
James is still on wobbly legs! Can Laloosh finish him?
Laloosh digs a good body shot into James's ribs.
James is aggressively charging in as Laloosh backs up avoiding any damage. Laloosh tosses out a jab and James runs right into it face first! James is out cold! Laloosh dropped down on all fours and is barking in James's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nuke Laloosh!
During a confident post fight interview, Nuke Laloosh thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
