PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Marsden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Wagner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marsden kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Feiticeira by Deftones. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brandon Marsden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Wagner!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marsden scores with a jab. Wagner acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Marsden has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Wagner won't allow Marsden to pass to mount.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Brandon Marsden.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Marsden, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
