Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, David Yung!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Demetri Rayven!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Eddie Farnsworth and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yung moves into the clinch successfully.
Rayven is trying to maintain a safe position but Yung gets an underhook and turns Rayven into the cage.
Yung is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Rayven stalls.
Yung leaning against his opponent.
Yung's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Yung seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Yung gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.
Yung is struggling to control the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by David Yung.

Yung gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Rayven is looking to break free of the clinch but Yung has double underhooks.
The referee is keeping an eye on Yung - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Rayven misses with a body punch.

Yung breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Yung rushes Rayven and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Yung has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Rayven uses from the top position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Yung looking for a guillotine here but Rayven defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Yung working for a triangle but Rayven defends it easily.

Yung working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rayven doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Yung is tightening it up a little... Rayven has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Rayven reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Rayven taps out! Nice BJJ there by Yung!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). David Yung!
