Burns comes into the arena with Body Head Bangerz feat. Lil' Boosie & Young Bleed - I Smoke, I Drank blaring out of the sound system. Karamyenyan has chosen Saw Theme - Bonecrusher ft. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karamyenyan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Karamyenyan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A little feinted left hand from Burns on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Vahan Karamyenyan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Burns rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Karamyenyan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Burns has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Burns scores with the left hand. Karamyenyan knows he should have avoided that one.
Karamyenyan doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Karamyenyan throws a half hearted mid kick.
Burns has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Canadian Elite Bruins Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Burns feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Karamyenyan's calf.
Burns fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Karamyenyan is out of range.
Burns scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Burns misses the shot to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Burns takes a kick to the side of the head.
Karamyenyan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Burns moves away.
Burns comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

It looks like Vahan Karamyenyan has been cut.
Burns ducks under a wild hook from Karamyenyan.
Burns will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Karamyenyan tries to clinch but Burns is having none of it.
A shot to the body from Karamyenyan misses
and Burns connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Karamyenyan takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Karamyenyan is rocked!
Karamyenyan tries a head kick but it misses.
Burns feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Karamyenyan is still on wobbly legs! Can Burns finish him?
Burns will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Karamyenyan seems to have recovered his senses.

Burns drops Karamyenyan with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Karamyenyan looks back up at him and smiles so Burns waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Burns throws a body kick that misses.

and Burns counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Burns .
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Burns scores with a shoulder strike.
Karamyenyan throws an elbow but it misses.
Karamyenyan looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Karamyenyan throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Burns avoids a wild elbow strike from Karamyenyan.
Karamyenyan blocks a body shot from Burns .
Burns lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Karamyenyan or not.
Burns tries to throw a body punch but Karamyenyan avoids it by throwing Burns back against the cage.

Burns breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Karamyenyan takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Burns misses with a looping left.

and Burns counters with a crisp right hand that drops Karamyenyan! Burns lets Karamyenyan back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Burns walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Karamyenyan drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Burns swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Karamyenyan's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
