Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Lobo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dominic Fortune (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lobo comes to the cage accompanied by Carbon Based Lifeforms - Hydroponic Garden. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Antonio Lobo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dominic Fortune!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fortune moves into range and clinches up with Lobo.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Fortune.
Fortune blocks an elbow strike.
A short uppercut from Fortune.
Lobo is trying to pull guard but Fortune has him pressed against the cage.
Fortune swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Fortune pushes Lobo back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Lobo tries to pull guard but Fortune won't allow it.
Fortune lands a right hand that snaps the head of Lobo backwards.
Fortune cracks Lobo with a nice body shot.
Lobo tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Fortune smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Antonio Lobo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lobo tries to close the distance and clinch but Fortune swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fortune tries to clinch but Lobo is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fortune listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Fortune has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lobo.
Lobo is looking to slow Fortune down with leg kicks.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lobo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fortune swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Fortune drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Lobo defends it well.
Fortune fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lobo.
Lobo will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Fortune tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Lobo instigates a clinch.
Lobo blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Fortune throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Lobos head.
Lobo throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Lobo tries to pull guard but Fortune won't allow it.
Fortune effectively controlling the action here.
Lobo is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Fortune to keep the fight standing.
Fortune stalling in the clinch.
Lobo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Lobo blocks an uppercut.
Lobo blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Lobo jumps guard but Fortune stands there with Lobo around his waist. Lobo gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Fortune misses with a hook from the clinch.

Lobo manages to pull guard.
Lobo wants to sweep but no luck.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Lobo is looking for a triangle but Fortune pushes his legs off easily.

Lobo is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Lobo has a closed guard, preventing Fortune from standing up.

Lobo looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Lobo lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Fortune keeping moving, preventing Lobo from controlling successfully.
Fortune told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Lobo passes Fortune's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Fortune keeps control of the position for the meantime.

Lobo is trying to work for a kimura but Fortune is defending well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Lobo is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Fortune is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Fortune is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lobo's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lobo's back!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dominic Fortune dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Fortune gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A short uppercut from Fortune.
Lobo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fortune walks away with a smile on his face. Lobo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Lobo - that will leave a mark!
Fortune tries to clinch but Lobo is having none of it.
Fortune throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fortune chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lobo can pounce on him.
Fortune cracks a nice hook into Lobo's ribs.
Fortune swinging wildly here.
Fortune doesn't manage to clinch there - Lobo circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lobo throws out a leg kick but Fortune moves out of range and Lobo only half commits.
Fortune is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
A jab lands there for Fortune.

Fortune instigates a clinch.
Fortune throws a head punch that misses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fortune lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Fortune is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Lobo tries to pull guard but Fortune won't allow it.

Lobo jumps into guard, dragging Fortune to the mat.

Lobo has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Fortune should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Lobo has tightened it up now! Fortune should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Antonio Lobo!
A relieved looking Antonio Lobo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
