Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Konrad Husky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dixie Small!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Small scores with a shot to the body.
Husky misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Husky just misses with a punch to the body.
Small swats away the attempt to clinch by Husky.
Husky misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Small connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Small looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Husky has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Small is working away from the top position though.
Small passes to full mount!
My spies in LOD: Fight Club inform me that Small has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Small lands a heavy elbow.

Husky might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Small has control of Husky's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Husky regains control of the situation pretty easily.

We've been hearing good reports from Husky's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Husky pushes a forearm under Small's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Small is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Dixie Small was interviewed post fight and said 'It was a good win, but nevertheless, I'll still be bringing home my opponent's girl . Don't feel left out man. And as usual, we'll be making a pov video for all you fans out there. Sayonara'.
