The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oblamenko turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Oblamenko has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Henrik Danielsson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice leg kick lands there from Oblamenko.

Oblamenko clinches up with Danielsson and pushes him back against the cage.
Oblamenko lands with a light punch inside.
Oblamenko lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Danielsson backwards.
Danielsson takes an elbow to the temple.
Danielsson takes a shot to the head.
Danielsson is looking for a takedown.

Oblamenko breaks from the clinch.
Danielsson shoots for a takedown but Oblamenko saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Danielsson counters with a three punch combo that has Oblamenko backing up. Oblamenko nods at Danielsson to acknowledge the strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Danielsson shoots for a double leg takedown but Oblamenko sprawls well. He's pushed Danielsson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Oblamenko was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

and Oblamenko counters with a solid body kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!

We've been hearing reports that Danielsson has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Oblamenko throws a front kick that sends Danielsson stumbling back into the cage.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Danielsson is defended easily by Oblamenko.
Oblamenko follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Oblamenko avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Oblamenko lands an uppercut, right on the button! Danielsson tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
