Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Ashley Sheilds!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
14 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Point Fighter!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sheilds thuds his right hand into Fighter's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Fighter misses with a wild combination.
Fighter catches Sheilds with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Sheilds swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fighter throws out a counter right but Sheilds avoids it with no problem.
A jab from Sheilds finds it's way through Fighter's defenses.
Sheilds bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Fighter's head backwards.
Fighter cracks Sheilds with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Sheilds looks to land a left hand but Fighter moved out of range nicely.
We've been informed that Fighter has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Fighter ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Fighter looks to land a right hand but Sheilds moved out of range.
Sheilds scores with a jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fighter slips under a jab.
Sheilds scoring well with a low kick there.
Sheilds swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fighter let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Sheilds scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Fighter takes a swing at Sheilds's ribcage but misses.
Sheilds finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Fighter looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Sheilds cracks Fighter with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Fighter closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Sheilds moves out of range of the strikes.

Sheilds throws a shot from downtown. Fighter moves away and avoids it.
Sheilds ducks under a wild hook from Fighter.
Fighter scores with a nice head shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sheilds throws the left hand but Fighter avoids the punch easily.
Fighter throws out a counter right but Sheilds avoids it with no problem.
It looks like Sheilds has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fighter smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Fighter slips a jab from Sheilds.
Sheilds throws a jab but it's blocked by Fighter.
Fighter ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sheilds moves away.
Nice defenses there by Sheilds.
Fighter throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Sheilds colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Fighter as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Sheilds is left battered and dazed whilst Fighter and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Point Fighter!
During a confident post fight interview, Point Fighter thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
