Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rei pivots, looking for a leg kick but Boyd is out of range and Rei settles back down.
Rei throws a jab when Boyd was well out of range.
Boyd fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rei has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Nice uppercut lands for Rei. That snapped Boyd's head back.

Rei is pressed up against the cage. Boyd has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rei down to the mat. Rei avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boyd ducks right into an uppercut from Rei.
Boyd fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rei.
