Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Scot Blennerhassett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heston Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Gracie's choice of entrance music: Black Helicopters. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Blennerhassett checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Gracie was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Gracie isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Blennerhassett stacks Gracie on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Blennerhassett!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
You can see the frustration on Gracie's face as Blennerhassett controls the position.

Gracie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Blennerhassett's waist but Blennerhassett gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gracie off to one side.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Blennerhassett tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Blennerhassett to the ground. Blennerhassett escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Scot Blennerhassett.
I think Gracie has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
