The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez throws a left and a right that both miss
and Duangjan counters with a low kick, right behind Perez 's knee.
Perez misses with a takedown attempt
and Duangjan counters with a big head kick but Perez shrugs it off.
Duangjan buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Perez has his takedown stuffed
and Duangjan counters with a good, hard body kick but Perez shrugs it off.
Perez throws a left and a right that both miss
and Duangjan counters with a one-two to the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Perez.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jose Perez. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Duangjan is looking for the big counter here.

and Duangjan counters with a crisp one two that drops Perez! Duangjan thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Perez to his feet! Perez is in big trouble!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Duangjan lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Perez falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
