Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alistair Spong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vaclav Mika (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spong kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is 2Pac - I'm A Soldier (Echale Mojo Remix) . Mika has chosen Notorious Big - Just a memory as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spong lets loose with a powerful body kick. Mika will feel that in the morning.
Spong scores with a sloppy right hand. Mika should have avoided that one.

It looks like Vaclav Mika has been cut.
Spong jabs Mika right on the nose. Mika blinks but takes it well.
Spong misses with a wild combination.
The fighters circling - Mika throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Mika misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mika lands a really nice looking cross but Spong seems unphased.
Spong lands with a hook. Mika tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Spong swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Spong avoids the body shot from Mika.
A big right from Mika misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mika looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mika takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Spong takes a shot right to the bread basket.

The cut above Vaclav Mika's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Spong tries to keep at a distance but Mika has taken the fight into the clinch.
Mika misses with a hook from the clinch.
Spong can't find room to land a body shot as Mika controls the action.
Mika misses with a hook to the ribs.
Spong tries a knee to the head but Mika blocks it.
Spong goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Spong tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Mika tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Mika pushes Spong back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Mika.
A nice right hand lands inside from Spong.
Spong takes a shot to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mika misses with a hook to the ribs.

Spong throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Mikas head.

Vaclav Mika's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Spong landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Spong breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Mika missing with a left hand there. Spong was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Spong avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Mika looks to land a right hand but Spong moved out of range.
Spong tests Mika's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Mika takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Vaclav Mika's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
