Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sinbad Baba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Paul Fish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Baba might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to King of Seven Seas. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sinbad Baba!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 13 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Paul Fish!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Fish misses.

Baba closes the distance and pushes Fish back into the cage.

Baba escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Baba clinches up against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Fish.
A shot in the inside from Baba.
Fish is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Fish tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Baba avoids it.
Fish working aggressively here.

Baba breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fish is looking to clinch.
Fish misses with an attempted mid kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Baba slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Fish misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Baba appears to be looking for a big counter.
Fish looks to land a left hand but Baba moved out of range nicely.
Baba misses with a straight left.
Baba doesn't manage to clinch there - Fish circles away.
Fish throws a leg kick but Baba sees it coming and checks it nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fish dips to his left and cracks Baba with an uppercut!
Fish misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Baba buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Baba moves away from the strike by Fish.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Fish has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Fish throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Baba lands with a shot to the body.
Baba connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Baba connects with a body shot that sends Fish's belly button to the back.
Baba throws a nice inside leg kick.
Baba drops his hands momentarily and Fish takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Baba feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Fishs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A head kick misses from Fish.
Baba appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
A slow jab from Fish misses its intended target.
Fish takes a head kick and shrugs it off.


Fish is rocked!
Baba tries to close the distance and clinch but Fish swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fish is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Fish is still on wobbly legs! Can Baba finish him?
Baba drops Fish with a naaaaasty hook - Fish is in real trouble here! Baba dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sinbad Baba!
Our winner, Sinbad Baba, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
Jon Paul Fish was interviewed post fight and said 'Clearly, I've got some things to work on. Thanks to everyone who's supported me thus far.'.
