Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kali Parlsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Billy Riley has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kali Parlsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 39 - 1, fighting out of London, Billy Riley!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parlsh fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Riley drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Parlsh defends it well.
Parlsh tries for a takedown but Riley sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Riley throws a counter combo.
Parlsh shoots in looking for a takedown but Riley manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Parlsh's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kali Parlsh. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Riley closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Parlsh did well to prevent Riley getting side control.

Riley is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Parlsh has managed to free his arm - good work.

Riley is taking a breather. Parlsh says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Riley is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Parlsh defends it well.
Riley wants to pass the guard but Parlsh is defending well.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Riley working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Riley is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Parlsh is trying to stand back up but Riley is controlling him

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Riley is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Riley wants to free his trapped foot but Parlsh is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Parlsh has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Riley is working away from the top position though.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Riley is working for a submission of some sort.
Parlsh is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Riley is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Parlsh is defending against the submission attempts here by Riley.

Riley is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Parlsh is just riding it out for now. Riley eventually gives up the hold.

Riley fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Parlsh sprawls well initially but Riley persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Parlsh on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Parlsh tries to get out of the position.

Riley looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Parlsh is trying to control but can't.
Parlsh tries to kick Riley off but Riley keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
