The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brunson staying out of range there.
Brunson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Brunson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Nelson.
It looks like Roy Nelson has been cut.
A punch combination from Nelson misses.
Brunson lands the left hand.
Brunson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Nelson.
Brunson cracks Nelson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Brunson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Nelson to stand back up!
Nelson is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Brunson closes the distance and pushes Nelson back into the cage.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Nelson has eaten all the pies!

Brunson gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Nelson is still on wobbly legs! Can Brunson finish him?
Brunson creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Nelson's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Nelson drops to his knees and Brunson pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Doyle Brunson!
Doyle Brunson bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
