The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McFadden throws a right hand that misses
and Garret counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Garret explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Garret on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
McFadden misses with an uppercut.
Garret moves into range and connects with a jab.
It looks like David McFadden has been cut.
Garret tests McFadden's chin there with a solid looking shot.
McFadden has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Garret.
Garret ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Garret moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Garret takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
McFadden throws a poor cross that misses
and Garret counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Garret dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Garret cracks McFadden with an open hand slap.
McFadden throws a leg kick
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Garret lands with a good body shot.
David McFadden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McFadden looks winded!

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Garret.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McFadden throws a looping overhand right but Garret ducks down to avoid it.
Garret cracks McFadden with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! McFadden looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Garret finish him?
McFadden is rocked!
McFadden tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
McFadden is still on wobbly legs! Can Garret finish him?
Garret grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! McFadden takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Garret cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

Pat Garret was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
David McFadden spoke after the fight, saying 'Guid gear comes in sma’ bulk! I´ll train harder and come back '.
