The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willis scores with the left hand. Sledge knows he should have avoided that one.
Sledge shoots in looking for a takedown but Willis manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sledge's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Willis jabs Sledge right on the nose. Sledge blinks but takes it well.
Willis avoids the head kick by Sledge.
A head kick misses from Sledge.
Sledge walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Willis lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Sledge fails with the takedown
enabling Willis to counter with a crisp jab.
Willis looks to land a combination but Sledge avoids it well.
Sledge is looking to counter the offense by Willis and move into the clinch.
Willis darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Willis moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Sledge takes one to the chin there.
Sledge gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Willis.

Willis lands with a nice body punch.

Sledge throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A bone on bone clash there as Willis blocks the leg kick.
Dom Willis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Willis scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sledge doesn't seem bothered though.
Sledge has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Den of Tears (22 coaches, $900 fee) in the buildup to the fight.
Sledge takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
