Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, I Hate Family!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Sandra Marshall and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Family throws a lazy right hand but Tow sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Tow shoots in but Family avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Family instigates a clinch.
Tow fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Family misses with the head strike.

Tow pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Family tests Tow's chin there with a solid looking shot.

It looks like Big Tow has been cut.
Family has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Family misses with a jab, cross combination.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tow is defended easily by Family.

Tow throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Family tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Tow is in Family's guard.
Tow wants to pass the guard but Family is keeping the position.
Family avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Tow postures up and lands a big shot to Family's brow.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tow controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Tow in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tow is in close to Family's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Tow throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Family works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Family wants to stand but Tow is controlling the position.
Tow postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Tow scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tow accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Tow throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Family works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Tow postures up in Family's guard and throws a big left but Family blocks it.
Tow trying to control but Family is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tow is stalling in the full guard.
Tow postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Tow stands and throws Family's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Family dodges the ground and pound from Tow.
Tow tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Family is working to avoid the ground and pound but Tow connects with a decent elbow.

Family is rocked!
A big shot lands for Tow! That's hurt Family! Will he recover? Tow fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
