Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bazooka Joe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Pittsburgh Steelers!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Jeff Smith and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice straight punches there by Joe. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Joe.
Joe throws a body shot but no joy.
A nice side step and Steelers releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Steelers scores with a leg kick.
Steelers misses with a wild combination.
Steelers misses with a head kick.
Steelers looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Joe throwing a counter right hand but Steelers manages to avoid it.
Joe swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We've been informed that Steelers has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Steelers throws a head kick that misses.
Steelers pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Joe was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Steelers on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Bazooka Joe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A punch combination from Steelers misses.
Joe is looking to clinch but Steelers is avoiding it.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Joe crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Steelers - the referee stops the clock and Joe gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Steelers. Joe manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
A telegraphed right hand from Joe misses the target.
Steelers scores with a three punch combo!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Joe misses with a body shot.
A head kick misses from Steelers.
Joe misses with an uppercut
and Steelers counters with a left to the body.
Steelers walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Joe checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Joe pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Steelers drops Joe with a beautiful combination! Joe stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Steelers is looking for the KO!


Joe is rocked!


It looks like Bazooka Joe has been cut.
Steelers throws a head kick but Joe moves out of range.
Oh Joe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Steelers feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Joe collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Pittsburgh Steelers!
A determined Pittsburgh Steelers didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
