The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bronson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hao.

Hao lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hao takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bill Bronson will probably get the nod.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hao has a couple of punches blocked by Bronson.
Bronson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hao is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Hao lands a hook that snaps the head of Bronson backwards.

Bronson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Hao throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bronson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hao works his foot free and advances to mount.
Lu Hao has got the better of the ground game so far.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
