The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koko throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Koko will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Whack! Nanahara lands a heavy head kick that drops Koko. The ref tackles Nanahara to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Koko was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Shuya Nanahara!

After the fight, Shuya Nanahara was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Michael Koko spoke after the fight, saying 'Koko sad.'.
